Όπως και στην Αυστραλία έτσι και στη Ν.Αφρική ο Κώστας κέρδισε και πάλι τον Benjamin Balleret και μάλιστα σχεδόν με το ίδιο σκορ! Πρόκριση λοιπόν με 6-0 6-4.Στο 2ο γύρο του challenger θα παίξει με τον Σουηδό, Bjorn Rehnquist(απέκλεισε τον Meffert, 6-3 4-6 4-6).
Στο διπλό με συμπαίκτη τον Κoubek έχασαν 6-0 6-2 από τους Montcourt/Muller

As in Australian Open the same in S.Africa.Kostas beat again Benjamin Balleret of Monaco and almost with the same score!! Win in straight set, 6-0 6-4 and qualification in 2nd round.Next opponent is Swede, Bjorn Rehnquistn (he beat Meffert, 6-3 4-6 4-6).
In doubles with Stefan Koubek they lost in 1st round to Montcourt/Muller, 0-6 2-6.
