Ξεκίνημα με νίκη !

Με μια εντυπωσιακή νίκη ξεκίνησε ο Κων/νος Οικονομίδης τους αγώνες στα προκριματικά του Αυστραλιανού Όπεν! Με 6-0(!) 6-2 επικράτησε με μεγάλη άνεση του Μονεγάσκου Benjamin Balleret και συνεχίζει στο τουρνουά.Mάλιστα το πρώτο σετ ολοκληρώθηκε σε 19 λεπτά! Όλα πήγαν καλά σε αυτόν τον αγώνα εκτός από το ποσοστό στο πρώτο σερβίς, 38% αλλά με το εντυπωσιακό 85% κερδισμένων πόντων σε αυτό, αντιστάθμισε το πρόβλημα.Ο Κώστας σημείωσε 15 winners έναντι 5 του Μονεγάσκου ενώ κέρδισε και 5 από τα 6 break point που ήταν και το καταλυτικό σημείο του παιχνιδιού.Πολλά τα λάθη για τον Balleret,17, ενώ ο Οικονομίδης 7.

With an impressive win Konstantinos Economidis started the qualifications in Melbourne! He beat with 6-0(!) 6-2, Bejnamin Balleret of Monaco and he continues in the tournament.The first set was completed just in 19 minutes!
All went fine for Kostas except his first serve, 38% but with the 85% winning in first serve he solved it.Economidis had 15 winners, Balleret only 5 but the breaks seem to be the most important at this match.Kostas took 5 of 6 break points.None for the opponent.Balleret also had 17 unforced errors.
